LIRONIE is a high-quality & eco-designed brand with a vibrant personality, a Parisian savoir-faire, and a pinch of Mexican charisma.
Lironie is a Parisian fine house renowned for its nonconformity and subversion of norms. Since its inception, Sofia Lombardo has guided the brand with her unique vision, which reflects a playful yet sophisticated aesthetic. One of the standout features of Lironie's designs is the innovative peg pin clasp, adding a distinctive and creative touch to their luxury accessories.
To live up to its potential customers’ expectations and standards, LIRONIE uses upcycled leather from luxury houses' leftovers to create limited edition pieces, which are hand-made locally, making the most of French leather craftsmanship, envied internationally for its high-quality finish. Moreover, being committed against waste and overproduction, LiRONIE’s goods are made on reservation only, still ensuring a swift delivery but respecting the labor rhythm that goes into it. Communication is pivotal to the brand, hence the final customer receives constant updates about the production process timeline until the product is delivered.
All of LIRONIE’s designs include a signature clasp, made of what many would consider an ordinary object: a clothespin. LIRONIE’s clothespin clasp is inspired by Marcel Duchamp’s ready-made concepts and memorable humor: take a simple object everyone knows, put it in a different context, and give it a sense of preciousness. Therefore this ready-made object is stripped of its everyday purpose and sublimated by a refined design and metal finishing, becoming a disruptive representation of LIRONIE’s DNA.
